Understanding the comprehensive Framework for Teaching as part of evaluation processes is essential for every evaluator. This 3-hour virtual learning is designed to provide new evaluators a common understanding of Domains, Elements, Components as described in the framework, learn how to collect and use low-bias evidence, and engage in an understanding of levels of performance as described in the rubric. It is recommended that evaluators and teachers participate in separate professional learning sessions. The facilitator will accommodate groups of various positions with advanced notice.

MEMSPA understands that with additional hours of professional learning to use your evaluation tool, principals are better able to clearly identify elements of high impact teaching and learning and feel more comfortable engaging in growth producing feedback conversations with teachers.

We recommend that new evaluators engage in a minimum of 3 more hours after their initial training, so we have provided that for you!

As part of your learning in this series, you will be able to connect and communicate with our  learning facilitator throughout the year for ongoing, personalized support for evaluations.
