Outstanding Assistant Principal Award 2020
MEMSPA and Williams & Company, LLC announce Assistant Principal Evan Winkler as the 2020 MEMSPA Outstanding Assistant Principal. Evan is the assistant principal at Ring Lardner Middle School in Niles Community Schools. He was nominated by his colleagues at Ring Lardner Middle School where has been the assistant principal for three years. Evan received a BS degree from Grand Valley State University and his Masters of Arts from Marygrove College in Detroit.
The focus of the MEMSPA / Williams & Company Outstanding Assistant Principal Award is to promote educational excellence for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade schooling and calls attention to the fundamental importance of the assistant principal. Evan will represent MEMSPA at the NAESP National Outstanding Assistant Principal Awards Program in Louisville, Kentucky this July!

Evan has been dedicated to the overhaul and development of the district’s health curriculum and focus on whole child education, spearheading efforts to secure well over $200,000 for the district helping to change the trajectory of students’ lives.
