State Leaders Conference 2010

Executive Director Bob Howe, Representative Mark Schauer, MEMSPA President Darla Campbell and MEMSPA President Elect Eric Cardwell meet in Rep. Schauer's office in Washing D.C. to discuss the concerns of Michigan educators.  The NAESP holds a State Leaders Conference each year in July to provide leadership training for state affiliate officers, as well as opportunities to meet with federal legislators to further the educational needs of children.  July 15, 2010.

Children's Author Award

Alexandria, VA – April 9, 2010 - The National Association of Elementary School Principals Foundation (NAESPF) has launched a contest for aspiring children's book authors. The winning authors will have their books endorsed by the NAESP Foundation and published by Charlesbridge Publishing.

Pearson Grant Awarded

South Redford’s Vandenberg Elementary wins $65K Grant

The Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association (MEMSPA) and Pearson Learning Teams have just named Vandenberg Elementary School, located in South Redford School District, as the winner of the Pearson Learning Teams/MEMSPA Professional Development Partnership Grant.
